Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by Boleros, classical music and the classic romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos. Also, she loves operas and any form dramatic performance. Ana started learning how to play the piano and sing in the early years alongside her mother. The formal vocal training when she reached the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. After 2000, she emigrated back to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. She has been involved with a number of local initiatives, both as a teacher and performer, because of her enthusiasm for music and arts. Ana has been a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
