Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). When she was five, she moved from London to Oxfordshire where she studied at The Dragon School. Emma decided to be an actor by the age of six. Over the course of several years she was enrolled in the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. In the school, she was taught singing dance, acting and singing. Her performances had been in several Stagecoach or school shows before she turned ten. In 1999 casting began in the production of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2001) the film adaptation of British author J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Emma was found by casting agents through Emma's Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were cast as the three lead characters Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's debut film appearance came as a part of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the year 2001. The most successful film of 2001, the film set records in its first day revenue as well as its opening weekend earnings. It was highly acclaimed by critics, as were the performance of three actors.
