Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in his part of the Latin mainstream. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was issued through La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It peaked at number eight in the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. He released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album in the following year. The year 2021 was the first time he performed as a duo TINI for her hit stream single Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which featured the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo is a product of a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father are musicians. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. In his childhood he was instructed to perform on the guitar, piano and the ukulele. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that taking lessons with an Cuban singer would alter his direction in life.
