Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actor. The actor began his career playing roles in television shows including Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. Evans gained fame for his portrayal of his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans also appeared in the movie versions of comics and graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). In numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe film, such as Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2017) and Captain America: Civil War (2017) as well as in the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2017) Avengers: Infinity War Avengers: Infinity War(2018) in addition to Endgame (2009), his performance as Steve Rogers/Captain American gained him wider recognition.
